From Farm to Table: The Real Taste of Organic

✨ Seasonal organic fruit, veggies, and more—grown by European farmers, delivered across Europe, straight to your doorstep.

Read on to discover where… and a little surprise waiting for you.

I’ve always believed that health begins in the earth. When the soil is alive, so is the food that grows from it. And when food is alive, vibrant, and grown with respect for the land, it's loaded with natural nutrients, and it nourishes us on every level—body, mind, and spirit.

That’s exactly why I want to share with you something I deeply value and enjoy. It’s more than just buying food. It’s supporting farmers, reconnecting with the seasons, and rediscovering what real taste feels like.

And yes—read on, because at the end I’ll share how you can taste the difference yourself (with a €10 discount on your first box!).

Why Healthy Soil Means Tastier, More Transformative Food

Regenerative-organic practices—like composting and crop rotation, with no synthetic pesticides—don’t just heal the earth. They make fruits and vegetables explode with flavor.

Imagine biting into a sun-ripened apple that tastes like sweet sunshine, or discovering a kiwi so fresh you can eat the skin without a second thought. That’s what happens when soil is rich and food is picked at its peak—full of life force, juicy, and brimming with nutrients.

Now, let me introduce you to CrowdFarming

In this post, I want to share something that matters deeply to me—not only as someone who eats and wants good food like anyone else, but also as a mom and an integrative nutrition health coach: CrowdFarming.

It’s not just another way to buy food. It’s a movement created by farmers themselves, designed to connect us directly with the people growing our food—real food, grown without sprays or synthetic chemicals—without warehouses, middlemen, or long detours.

Instead, you can adopt a tree, support a farm, or order a seasonal box filled with organic produce grown in Europe and delivered straight to your doorstep (within Europe).

If you’re reading this from outside Europe, there are similar models you can look into. In the U.S., for example, there’s the CSA model (Community-Supported Agriculture), where you support a local farm and receive seasonal produce directly from them.

And if you don't have access to either CrowdFarming or a CSA, but you know of other organizations like this in your country, I’d love to hear about them. Share them with me, and I’ll gladly update this post so more people can discover these wonderful alternatives and benefit too.

What makes CrowdFarming so special is that it’s fair for farmers and nourishing for us. Farmers set their own fair prices, and by adopting or pre-ordering harvests, we help reduce food waste and give them stability. In return, we rediscover the seasons, we learn to eat produce when it’s truly ready, and we taste varieties supermarkets never carry.

We also learn the stories behind our food: who grew it, how they work, and even how many people are involved on the farm. Every box arrives with knowledge—tips on how to store, cook, or enjoy the produce. We can even visit the farms and see how it’s grown.

For me, that’s what makes this movement so meaningful. It’s not just buying food—it’s a connection. The families behind these farms literally pour love and care into what they grow, with passion, and you can taste the difference.

I don’t have a contract with them—I’m simply a delighted client. But I’ve found it so valuable, so worthwhile, that I want to spread the word. Because good food should nourish more than our stomachs—it should nourish our minds, our communities, and our planet too.

For me, CrowdFarming also feels like getting my freedom back. In supermarkets, I often feel trapped into choosing produce that’s traveled halfway around the world, picked too early—and who knows how long ago—then sprayed or waxed just to last longer on shelves. Even at local organic stores, I’ve seen produce like apple, pear, citrus fruits, mangoes, cucumbers, or even avocados treated with coatings—making them look shiny, but taking away my choice.

With CrowdFarming, I have a real choice again. I can fill my kitchen with unwaxed, unsprayed fruits and vegetables, grown with care in Europe and delivered straight to me. I can enjoy produce as it really is, discover varieties I’d never find in the supermarket, and taste what I truly like. It educates me, expands my palate, and gives me back control over what I put into my body.

That’s something I’m deeply grateful for: not just food that tastes better, but food that lets me choose real quality, without compromise—food that arrives just as nature intended.

Organic (and Beyond): Real Quality You Can Trust

Let’s clear up some myths about "organic."

  • EU organic certification means no synthetic pesticides, no GMOs, and no sneaky preservatives like wax sprays. A few natural substances (like copper-based fungicides or neem oil) can be allowed, but under strict rules. Glyphosate and synthetic herbicides? Completely banned.

  • CrowdFarming goes even further: they only work with farmers who commit to zero synthetic herbicides or pesticides, whether they’re certified yet or not.

The result? Produce that’s not just safe—it’s delicious. The kind where the taste alone tells you you’re eating something real.

From Farm to Table: A Tale of Two Journeys

CrowdFarming:

  1. Fruit ripens naturally on the tree.

  2. Harvested at the right moment.

  3. Shipped directly from the farm to your doorstep.

Supermarket Produce:

  • Picked too early, sprayed, waxed, and shipped through warehouses.

  • Often stored in cold rooms for months (yes, kiwis and apples can sit for a year before you see them).

  • Shiny on the outside, but cut it open and you might find it dull, mealy, even brown inside.

Which one would you rather feed your body and family with?

The Holistic Ripple: Taste, Soil, Health, Planet

CrowdFarming creates a ripple effect of wellness:

  • Better taste & nutrition → food bursting with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

  • Seasonal connection → relearning what grows when.

  • Support for farmers → fairer pay and faster income, without middlemen.

  • Healthier bodies & minds → alive food that fuels us from the inside out.

  • Stronger communities & planet → less waste, healthier soil, more biodiversity.

Healthy land → healthy farmers → healthy food → healthy bodies → healthy minds → healthy societies → a healthier planet.

But What About the Price?

Maybe you’re wondering: "Isn’t this more expensive?"

Here’s the truth:

  • You’re paying a fair price—one that respects the farmer and the earth.

  • You get a lot of food. If it feels like too much, you can share the abundance with family, friends, colleagues, or neighbors.

  • Even better: you can order as a group—split a box with friends or colleagues. It’s practical and it builds connection, turning food into something that unites us.

  • And here’s something most people don’t think about: when you eat nutrient-dense food, your body needs fewer synthetic supplements (which are often expensive and less bioavailable). With CrowdFarming, you’re getting the nutrients straight from the source.

So in the long run, it’s not just affordable—it’s smart.

Food That Connects Us

One of my favorite parts about CrowdFarming is how it reconnects us. Ordering together, splitting a box, or simply sharing your harvest with a neighbor creates a ripple of community.

And if you worry that fresh food feels less "convenient" than grabbing something from a box—here’s a trick. When your CrowdFarming box arrives, rinse and dry your fruit and veggies before putting them in the fridge. That way, they’re ready to grab. I wrote a simple, step-by-step guide that shows you exactly how to store, batch-cook (safely), and prep without stress: How to Meal-Prep Without Losing Your Mind.

In a world where convenience has replaced connection, food can bring us back to what matters: sharing, tasting, and belonging.

Ready to Taste the Transformation?

You’ve read this far—you definitely deserve a reward. If you’re in Europe and want to try this delicious way of eating and living, here’s my personal link:

Let’s support farmers, heal the soil, and taste food as it’s meant to be—together.

In the end, it’s not about having more—it’s about having better. Quality over quantity, in our food and in our lives, is what truly nourishes us.

Now go on—slice that orange, crunch that cucumber, or bite into that apple skin without guilt. Here’s to food that makes you grin. Bon appétit! 😋

And a little warning: once you taste real food, supermarket fruit may feel like cardboard. Don’t say I didn’t tell you. 😉

With love (and a big smile),

Sabrina 🌷
